Design for availability and clarity
We develop Purdue‑aligned, zone‑and‑conduit network architectures that separate enterprise and operational domains, define DMZ boundaries, and specify resilient uplinks and deterministic paths for control traffic. Our designs include topology drawings, cable schedules, equipment lists, and environmental requirements so the network is both technically sound and construction‑ready. Where clients require validated vendor stacks, we specify Cisco industrial solutions and produce the documentation contractors need to build with confidence.

Designs become reliable systems through correct configuration and validation. BTI delivers switch, VLAN, QoS, routing, and firewall configurations as deployable artifacts, supports factory acceptance testing, and performs on‑site commissioning and post‑install validation. Our commissioning work verifies traffic flows, latency, redundancy, and failover behavior under realistic loads so the network performs as intended when it matters most.

For brownfield sites, we begin with discovery: passive asset identification, topology mapping, and performance profiling. Deliverables typically include an asset inventory, topology diagrams, prioritized findings, and a phased implementation plan.

Effective segmentation reduces risk without degrading control traffic. BTI implements VLAN strategies, routing plans, and industrial firewall policies that prevent lateral movement while preserving deterministic behavior for PLC and SCADA traffic. We design staged segmentation that can be implemented incrementally, and we provide policy templates and configuration artifacts that simplify deployment and future maintenance.
