Chris Daniels
Automation Team Lead
Chris is an Industrial Automation Subject Matter Expert with nearly 20 years of experience designing, optimizing, and supporting complex control systems. Since 2007, he has built a diverse career across multiple industries, including upstream oil and gas, power generation, water treatment, manufacturing, and food and beverage.
He specializes in the development of high-quality SCADA and control system solutions, with expertise ranging from architecting large-scale greenfield systems to the migration and modernization of legacy platforms. He brings in-depth knowledge of OT cybersecurity practices, ICS lifecycle management, and alarm management.
A key focus of his work is the development of comprehensive corporate frameworks, including programming standards, HMI design, tagging structures, QA/QC procedures, and bulk-build tools. His technical skillset is highly versatile, spanning IEC 61131 programming languages, C#, Python, SQL, YAML, XML, and VBA.
He is passionate about bridging the gap between Operations, Engineering, OT, and IT to deliver secure, efficient, and resilient automation infrastructure.
